Who hasn’t had the dream of opening a bookstore with their best friends?

Add in the fact that we found the perfect little space in the small city we grew up in - it’s like the plot of a cozy novel!

Meet Lauren Gately, Jess Amico and Lindsay Amico. The owners of The Velvet Bookmark. Our goal? Bring together our community for moments of learning, connection, new friendships and like-mindedness. All for the love of books!

If booktok is your thing, you’re in luck. We are hoping to stock our store with the latest and greatest books from your favorite authors. Everything from fantasy to romance to queer enemies to lovers.
